Columbus, OH — Have you ever wanted to own a racehorse? It’s easier than you might think, and the USTA and The Meadows Racetrack can help you learn how.

The Meadows, in conjunction with the USTA and Hanover Shoe Farms, will host a New Owners Seminar on Friday, Aug. 10, at its Top of the Track restaurant for anyone considering the first-time purchase of a Standardbred. Topics will include the costs, risks and rewards of harness racing as well as how to select a trainer and the horse for you.

The FREE program begins at 3:00 p.m., and pre-registration is required.

Participants will receive a one-year subscription to Hoof Beats magazine and a $25 credit for the USTA’s online database, PATHWAY. A light dinner is also served at the conclusion of the seminar. Post time is 6:00 p.m.
