Harrington, DE — Frank Chick’s Harness Horse Sales will head north next month to hold its first New Jersey sale.

Chick’s New Jersey Standardbred Sale is set for 12:00 noon on Tuesday, October 28, at the Horse Park of New Jersey near Allentown.

At Harrington Raceway in Delaware, Chick’s has sold more than 10,000 horses over more than a decade of sales events.

Sales Manager Frank Chick says, “With all the success in Delaware, it seems the next logical step is to expand the sales to New Jersey.”

Like Harrington Raceway, the Horse Park of New Jersey is within easy driving distance from a variety of tracks and training facilities. Among them are Freehold, the Meadowlands, Harrah’s Chester, Yonkers, Dover Downs and Pocono Downs.

In addition to its convenient location, the Horse Park of New Jersey is an attractive, comfortable facility with plenty of stabling for horses.

Horse consignments for the sale are being accepted now; deadline for inclusion in the sale catalog is September 30; late entries will be sold by date of entry on a first come/first served basis.
