Chester, PA — Pocono’s yearlong 50th anniversary celebration and new stakes at Harrah’s Philadelphia are just some of the exciting events viewers can expect to see during the eighth season of “PA HarnessWeek.”

One of the most recognizable broadcast teams in harness racing is back for new episodes jam-packed with news, features and behind-the-scenes coverage from Pennsylvania and across the globe. Horseracing’s firework Heather Vitale returns alongside industry and broadcast veteran Steve Ross as co-hosts. Sportscaster Sharla McBride is the show’s reporter and guest host. Behind the scenes, two-time Emmy award winner Bruce Casella continues as producer/director.

New episodes start Saturday (March 21) at 10:30 a.m. on Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia. Viewers outside the area can catch the show in high definition at www.HarnessWeek.com, which also links to a YouTube archive of episodes dating back to season one.
