New Standardbred Training Center to open in Vero Beach

Columbus, OH — A new Standardbred Training Center is scheduled to open later this month in Vero Beach, Fla.
According to www.tcpalm.com, Palema Trotting is a 58-acre training facility that hopes to attract Standardbreds from Canada and the United States when it opens in late October.
Built by Swedish businessman and breeder Karl-Erik Bender, Palema Trotting will open with room for 92 horses, with 20 paddocks, two training tracks, a 900 meter straight track for speed and strength training and a 1,000 meter oval track for racing experience.
