East Rutherford, NJ — More than $10,000 in cash prizes and seats in the World Harness Handicapping Championship are up for grabs in Meadowlands Racetrack’s first harness handicapping tournament of the season on Saturday (Jan. 28).

The fee to participate is $200 ($100 entry fee/$100 bankroll). Contestants must bet exactly 10 Meadowlands races, with a $10 minimum bet per race (no maximum). Wagers must be win, place or combination WP, and on one horse per race.

Payouts are to the Top 10, plus players keep their bankrolls. The top two finishers will qualify for the inaugural World Harness Handicapping Championship to be held in early 2013 at Woodbine Racetrack. The Meadowlands will host the championship on alternate years.

Players may register for the contest between 5–6:30 p.m. in Raceworld Teletheater on Saturday (Jan. 28).
