New track kitchen opens at Sunshine Meadows

from Sunshine Meadows Equestrian Village

Delray Beach, FL — So what is that heavenly smell that horsemen and women at Sunshine Meadows Equestrian Village in Delray Beach have been enjoying this past week?

It’s the brand new Gigi’s Cantina that is now officially open for business Monday through Saturday from early morning to late afternoon, serving breakfast and lunch while guests can enjoy watching the trotters and pacers training on the racetrack.

Owned by Gigi Stetler, Gigi’s Cantina serves regular American cuisine but also has many Hispanic favorites too, plus inexpensive drinks and snacks.

Dan DiGiuseppe has been hired as the Chef/Manager and he is a graduate of the International Culinary School at the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale. He will be aided by Lisa Roche who will be handling front-of-the-house operations and on-site deliveries.

“We also do any special catering events,” DiGiuseppe said. “We have a food trailer that can also go mobile for private parties or events. Anyone interested can contact me directly at 856.904.0119.”

Gigi’s Cantina is located right on the finish line of the one mile racetrack at Sunshine Meadows Equestrian Village. The training and riding facility is located on the west side of 441/SR 7, just south of Atlantic Avenue and north of Clint Moore Road. The street address is 16668 Winners Circle, Delray Beach, FL. For more information call 651.495.1455.

There are still about 50 stalls left at Sunshine Meadows for winter training. Please contact the farm for more details.
