Cranbury, NJ — A compact group of North America’s richest and fastest pacers will contest the Breeders Crown Pace, one of four open events worth a combined $1.7 million, scheduled for Saturday, September 1, at Mohawk Raceway in Campbellville, Ontario.

Canadian Pacing Derby winner and defending Breeders Crown champion Lis Mara, two-time Crown winner Boulder Creek and 2006 Pacer of the Year Total Truth headline a field of nine pacers in the $500,000 (C$540,000) Breeders Crown Pace. No eliminations will be necessary and an open draw will determine post positions.

The complete field in alphabetical order is as follows: Artistic Fella, Boulder Creek, Lis Mara, Mister Big, Mypanmar, Took Hanover, Total Truth, Western Shore and Zooka.

The Breeders Crown open events will be raced on a stakes-laden card that includes the Metro Pace, She’s A Great Lady and Fan Hanover finals.
