Trenton, NJ — Dreamlands Latte, the New Jersey Sire Stakes 2-year-old Filly Pacer of the Year in 2007, headlines the first of two $10,000 first leg divisions of the New Jersey Sire Stakes Green Acres on Thursday, August 7, at Freehold Raceway.

The pair of six-filly divisions, carded as races two and seven, are the featured races on opening day of the 90-date Freehold meet.

Dreamlands Latte, with David Miller scheduled to drive, drew the rail in the first division and will be making her third start since she was moved into the barn of trainer Joe Holloway.

The daughter of Artsplace, who is the third foal of the Jenna’s Beach Boy mare Dreamlands Hardie, is owned by her breeder, Clara Molski’s Dreamland Farms of Cream Ridge, N.J.

At two, the filly compiled a four-race winning streak in late summer for a sweep of the three prelims and $85,000 final of the New Jersey Sire Stakes Pari-Mutuel Series. She picked up additional checks with a third in the $80,000 Lou Babic Filly and a second in the $37,500 New Jersey Futurity, all at Freehold.

Dreamlands Latte’s 3-year-old debut came in a $26,236 Reynolds Stakes at Pocono Downs on July 5 and she scored a half-length victory in 1:52.3, her career mark.

Her last start was on July 24 at Harrah’s Chester where she was first up, parked out and finished fourth.

Dreamlands Latte has six wins, two seconds and one third from 13 career starts for earnings of $132,860.

The five-week Green Acres for 3-year-old fillies includes four $10,000 prelims — August 7, August 14, August 21 and September 5 — with the $35,000 final on September 12. All events are at Freehold.
