David Miller drove Tight Pants to a 1:58.1 win on Wednesday.

The filly’s winning time erased the previous mark of 1:59.2 by Ticket To Glide in 2004.

It was the fourth consecutive victory for the trotting daughter of Muscles Yankee-Soutaine Hanover. The Richard “Nifty” Norman-trainee had won two preliminary rounds of Green Acres competition, as well as the $59,000 Marion Dancer Trot for NJ-sired 2-year-old fillies.

Finishing 2-1/4 lengths back in second was Sheer Glide (Yankee Glide-Alix Hall). Woodshopper (Muscles Yankee-Woodwork) was third.

The winner’s share of the purse boosted Tight Pants’ earnings to $64,830 for owners David H. McDuffee, Herb A. Liverman and Melvin Hartman.
