Lucky Jim took command out of the gate and drew off to win the night’s third race in 1:54.4. A week later, Lucky Jim completed a sweep of the Horse & Groom Series with a 1:53 stakes record effort in the $96,000 final.

Lucky Jim is eligible to the Arthur J. Cutler Memorial (May 16) and Titan Cup (June 26) at the Meadowlands.
