Northfield, OH — Northfield Park has announced a $10,000 guaranteed Pick 4 total pool for Saturday’s December 17 race card. Beginning in Race 8, the $10,000 guarantee includes a carryover of $3,477.52.

Saturday’s Pick 5 pool will begin with a carryover of $2,031.41 and begins in Race 3.

Northfield’s Pick 4, along with the Pick 5 and the Pick 3’s, offers a reduced take-out rate of just 14% (the lowest in harness racing).

Not only does Saturday offer carryovers and a guarantee for the night’s multi-race wagers, it is Northfield Park’s annual Santa’s Sack Giveaway. Patrons who enter with a regular paid admission will receive a guaranteed instant prize worth between $5.00 and $37.00. The night’s festivities include drawings all evening for gifts and cash ranging from $50.00 to $500.00, and a grand prize drawing of $2,500.00 in cash.
