Northfield, OH — In a testament to the power of social media, within minutes of a Facebook post asking for donations from Northfield Park horsemen for the Cleveland Clinic’s children’s ward, support poured in not only statewide but countrywide.

On Monday morning December 22, a group of horsemen spearheaded by Ron Wrenn Jr. will deliver items sent from the clinic on a “wish list”. Items include toys, arts and crafts, and games they would like to have or to replace those worn out at the hospital to entertain the children.

Poised to capture the North American Dash-leading title for 2015, Aaron Merriman along with drivers Wrenn, Kurt Sugg, Wyatt Irvine, Robin Miller, Ryan Stahl and Jason Thompson will done their driving colors and accompany other horsemen for a heartfelt visit hoping to brighten the children’s Christmas spirits.
