Trotting star Nuncio with owner/trainer Stefan Melander in the bike returned to action Thursday night (Oct. 5) at the Bollnäs track in Sweden after being off since late June.

Nuncio looked marvelous and was an easy winner in 1.55.6f.

“He was super today,” Melander said after the win. “He felt much better in the heats before the race than earlier this year.

“The plan is to race him two more times here in Sweden, before I will ship him to France.”

Melander plans to race Nuncio in the 2018 Prix d’Amerique 2018.
