Nuncio returns to his customary place in the winner’s circle after a second place finish in the Oslo Grand Prix last month.

From his outside post position eight it was obvious that Nuncio would get a tough trip, and after he trotted three-wide round the first corner, he came down outside leading Tycoon Conway Hall driven by Thomas Uhrberg. Though Tycoon Conway Hall (a Danish trotter sired by Conway Hall), fought bravely Nuncio was strongest and won by a half-length in 1.52.1f.

In Paris some of the best French trotters met at Enghien in the Prix de Bruxelles over 1-5/16 mile with a purse for the winner of $47,500.

Amiral Sacha, (sired by Ganymede) driven by Gabriele Gelormini ,was the heavy favorite and fulfilled the expectations winning very easily in 1.56.1f (mile rate).
