Berlin, MD — Despite the mid-Atlantic region heat wave, Ocean Downs is planning to race its 12-race card with a first race post time of 7:05 p.m. on Thursday night (July 21).

“Afternoon rain and thunderstorms are supposed to roll through the area,” said director of racing Peter Szymanski, “and humidity levels are to fall accordingly.”

The 2-year-old finals for the Go Get Lost trotting series and the two pacing finals of the Future Hope — both for fillies and colts — will be contested along with two divisions of the Marlin claiming series.
