Columbus, OH — Mark your calendars to attend a one-day continuing education seminar on Monday (May 14) for all racing officials or those wanting to become a racing official. It will be held at the state fairgrounds in Springfield, Ill., in the Auditorium of the state Agriculture Building from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Presiding Judge Tim Schmitz will go over the rules of racing and provide scenarios for infraction discussion. This meeting is open to anyone wanting to learn new information on judging procedures, drug testing, conducting hearings and solving unforeseen problems in harness racing.
