OHHA Harness Racing Fantasy League is now accepting entries

from the Ohio Harness Hosemen’s Association

Grove City, OH — The second annual Harness Racing Fantasy League, sponsored by the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association, is now accepting entries, which must be received by the OHHA office or submitted online by March 31.

The Fantasy League is open to any individual who has not owned a racing Standardbred in the last two years. Stables will consist of six horses; two of them must be Ohio sired 2-year-olds while the other four can be a horse of any age, but must have made at least one start at an Ohio racetrack in 2017 or 2018.

There will be $5,000 in cash prizes awarded to the top five stables whose horses earn the most money; earnings will accumulate from May 1 through Oct. 27 (Breeders Crown night). New for the 2018 contest is an Ohio Sired Wildcard Bonus, which will pay $1,000 to the stable whose Ohio sired horses earn the most money.

OHHA encourages industry participants to spread the word about the contest. For every person a horseman refers, the horseman will receive an entry into a drawing for a grand prize of two tickets to the Hospitality Tent at the 2018 Little Brown Jug. The more unique people referred, and who enter the Fantasy League, the more entries the horseman receives.

Entry blanks, contest rules, lists of eligible horses and a complete list of prizes can be found on the OHHA website.
