OHHA protocol reminders, livestream restrictions

Grove City, OH – Reminders as we embark on a new level of regulation in our racing environment. Continuing to race is up to every horseman, non-compliance is not an option.

Refer to the complete list of mandatory protocols available at, https://go.pehq.co/3fUvuDM

All racing businesses use the protocol as an operating manual.  Hand sanitizer, mandatory masks, temperature taking (with a written log) are all on each and every trainer-driver as-with all Ohio small businesses in operation right now.

Not only is the OSRC on property at all times, but the state/local health departments are also stopping randomly and often verifying all protocols are being followed.

Look for property-specific protocols in place at each racing location. Our On-Track Reps have specifics, text them with questions.  For example, Scioto will not have a driver’s room, plan accordingly.  We are staying at a one-person per horse maximum for entry, no excess personnel.  No personnel under 16 years-old whether lic nsed or not permitted.

The OHHA is video live-streaming qualifiers in HD to our Facebook page, as available.  We will also be uploading any videos we stream for later viewing.   Be aware.  Those that plan independently to livestream, that IF any independent videotaping reflects poorly on compliance, that is one more avenue for potential closure.

We wish everyone success and are cautiously optimistic as we embark upon this new path.
