Ohio champ Summer Touch earns lifetime mark in Meadows blowout

Washington, PA – Summer Touch, the 2020 Ohio juvenile champion, swallowed up the field with a :27.4 uncovered third quarter and rolled home in Wednesday’s (May 19) feature at The Meadows, an $11,500 Filly & Mare Conditioned Pace.

Summer Touch was an unhurried fourth down the backside when Ronnie Wrenn, Jr., sent her after the leaders. The daughter of Well Said-Real Touch made the point in a heartbeat and scored in a career-fastest 1:51.2. Amelia’s Courage A finished second, 2-1/2 lengths back, with Dorothy’s Legacy third.
