Old-Fashioned Halloween open house & Spooky Stable Adventure

from the Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame

Goshen, NY — Bring the kids to the Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame, located at 240 Main Street, Goshen, NY on Saturday, October 28 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. for a fun-filled old-fashioned Halloween celebration with a walk through our spooky stable. Participate in creepy crafts, tricky games and enjoy sweet treats. Decorate a headless horseman, batty-witch or ghostly pumpkins to frighten off those Halloween spirits! Pumpkins are limited and are first come first served, so don’t be late! Children will engage in hauntingly fun games like Bat Toss and Pumpkin Bowling! The spooky Halloween adventure is topped off with a heart-pounding ride on our 3-D Harness Racing Simulator. Enjoy refreshments for everyone and candy treats for each child. Our mascot, Hall of Fame Harry will be here to pose for pictures with young gargoyles, ghosts, witches, pirates, super heroes and such! Children are encouraged to come in costumes of all kinds! The first 40 children pay $5 and receive a pumpkin to decorate. You may bring your own pumpkin and we’ll provide the fixin’s for some spooky pumpkin decorating for just $3, along with the games and treats. Parents are free. Reservations are not accepted.

Refreshments sponsored by ShopRite of Chester & Soons Orchard of New Hampton.
Pumpkins provided by Manza Farms of Montgomery & Soons Orchard.
