Toronto, ON — With post time favorite, Ibrox making a costly break in stride before the start of the C$60,000 Tie Silk Final, the race turned into a wide-open affair. Onirique, paying $92.10, used a fist-over attack to score his first career victory in 1:57.3.

Only the Best It (Simon Allard), Con Brio Hall (Jack Moiseyev) and R As Shakenbake (Rick Zeron) were all chasing the top spot going into the first turn. R As Shakenbake would gain the lead ahead of Con Brio Hall with Only the Best still on the outside at the quarter in :27.3.

R As Shakenbake would continue to lead past the half in :58. Heading into the final turn, Onirique (J.R. Plante) evacuated the seven-hole to use a fast backside brush to be within a length of the tempo-setter at three-quarters in 1:28.1.

Turning for home, Onirique passed R As Shakenbake and was able to fend off all rivals to score the victory by two-lengths for trainer Fredrik Persson. Unforgettable Fire (Mike Saftic) came from off-the-pace to finish second over Con Brio Hall who had the golden two-hole trip to finish third.

Reve Avec Moi Dreamwithme owns the 3-year-old son of Andover Hall who enjoyed his largest payday to date and now has career earnings of C$32,120.
