Millstone Twp., NJ — The Standardbred Retirement Foundation’s 22nd annual charity golf outing is this coming Tuesday (June 3) at the beautiful and private Battleground Country Club in Manalapan, N.J. Space is limited, we have four foursomes left, contact SRF to register today.

Green fees, cart, lunch, hors d’oeuvres and cocktail hour, dinner, charity auction, trivia, prizes, are all sure to make for a fun event. Registration and lunch begin at 11 a.m. Shotgun start is at 1 p.m. We also welcome non-golfers to join us for cocktails, dinner, and the evening events at $49 per person.

The online auction through SRF’s website is now up and running; come check it out and start bidding on some fabulous items. We have just added a Spyder Bike and Yankee tickets along with a Pennsbury jog cart; the Jets vs. Miami tickets on the 50 yard line; Hyperbaric treatments; a full equine body bone scan; gift certificates from well known veterinarians; boarding at training facilities; artwork and many other exciting items. We even have a once in a lifetime ride in the mobile starting gate at the New Meadowlands.

All proceeds benefit SRF, celebrating 25 years of helping horses, and kids. SRF is the oldest, most productive, award-winning program of its kind dedicated only to non-competitive Standardbreds. Unique in its work, SRF is providing care for more than 170 Standardbreds. This fund raising event assists in the cost of boarding, feeding, training, farrier, veterinary and dental care, vaccinations, and oversight for these horses being boarded at 17 different facilities, as well as oversight for follow-up of the past 2,500 adoptions since 1989.
