London, ON — The program is now available for Wednesday’s (March 30) card at Western Fair Raceway which features the Ontario Regional Drivers’ Challenge. The eight drivers competing are Simon Allard, Gord Brown, Scott Coulter, Trevor Henry, Jody Jamieson, John McDonald, Doug McNair and Scott Zeron.

The drivers will be showcased in eight races on Wednesday’s card, races five through 12, with the first going to post at approximately 5 p.m. The drivers are awarded points based on their finishes in each race with the top two point earners going on to represent the province at the National Driving Championship in PEI in early May. The winner of that event will be Canada’s representative at the World Driving Championship in the U.S. this summer.

Western Fair has been conducting a contest on their Facebook page for the competition. To vote simply visit their page through this link and click on the driver you think will win and select “like” to be eligible for the grand prize.

Sarah Imire, who has been providing profiles of the competing drivers throughout the past week, will be on hand with paddock reports throughout the program on Wednesday.

Also note that the guaranteed Win-4 minimum pool that day will be $4,000.
