Oslo Grand Prix won by Stole the Show

Oslo, Norway – The 6-year-old trotter, Stole the Show lived up to his name in the prestigious Oslo Grand Prix, raced Sunday (June 12) afternoon at Bjerke, Oslo.

Stole the Show – sired by Dream Vacation – had his trainer Frode Hamre in the bike and took an early command and stayed there in the 1 5-16 mile event. Stole the Show won by 4.5 lengths timed in 1.53.1f (mile rate) followed by the race favorite San Moteur with Björn Goop, who made a costly break going into the first turn but was very impressive to be able to finish second.

Third was Cicero TG with Magnus T. Gundersen and fourth, the youngest trotter in the race, Seven Nation Army with Nicklas Korfitsen.

Seven Nation Army – sired by Chapter Seven -was bought earlier this year from the Ray Schnittker stable and exported to Denmark.

The purse for the winner in Oslo Grand Prix was 1.2 m io. NOK or $125.000 dollars.
