Columbus, OH — The Toledo Blade is reporting that the Ohio State Racing Commission has unanimously approved the transfer of Penn National Gaming, Inc.’s racing license for Raceway Park from Toledo to the city of Dayton.

The Blade went on to report that the 2013 racing schedule at Raceway Park will be completed, and Penn National is likely to seek permission to continue racing in Toledo in 2014 up until its replacement track opens sometime in the second quarter of the year.
