Nicols, NY – P L Princess C (Aaron Byron) captured the $9,000 fillies & mares’ pace at Tioga Downs on Friday (May 17).

Lets Ryde Girl (Braxten Boyd) led to the quarter in :27.0. She slowed things down using a :30.1 second quarter breather to be first to the half in :57.1. She was still in command getting to three-quarters first in 1:24.3.

As they made the turn for home, P L Princess C ($9.30) came flying down the stretch like her tail was on fire and blew right on by to win in 1:53.1. Amini (Mike Merton) finished second. Rosey Time (Jim Pantaleano) was third.

P L Princess C is a 5-year-old mare by Thinking Out Loud. She is trained by Paul Long for owners Charlene and Jeff Long. It was his third win this season. She now owns 13 career victories.
