Columbus, OH — Harrisburg, Pa., television station WITF-TV is reporting an Associated Press story that the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board voted unanimously (7-0) on Wednesday (July 13) to abandon the application for a new, one-mile harness track for Lawrence Downs Casino and Racing Resort in Mahoning Township outside New Castle, Pa.
