PA owners and trainers need residency affidavit for Mohegan/Harrah’s races

Chester, PA — Those planning to enter races for Pennsylvania owned horses during the 2015 season at The Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono and Harrah’s Philadelphia must complete a residency affidavit to be eligible.

The form is available on the News page of the PHHA’s website, www.pahha.com or by clicking on this link. The original completed, notarized form must then be submitted to the PHHA offices in person or via registered mail.

With the season well underway, the PHHA urges everyone to complete and submit the form immediately to ensure eligibility. In addition, please be aware that upon request of track personnel and/or the PHHA, you may be required to produce a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license issued no later than Sept. 1 of the prior year and current vehicle registration; prior year’s USTA membership documentation; and the previous year’s tax return showing proof of permanent domicile.

Note that our Lemoyne office is closed. Mail should now be directed to Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino & Racetrack, Attn: PHHA, 1001 Harrah’s Blvd., Chester, PA 19013.
