Harrisburg, PA — The Pennsylvania Sire Stakes would like to re-emphasize that each of the 2008 pari-mutuel Sire Stakes Championship events will also have a consolation event for that division, for the next-highest pointearners who declare in but do not reach the final. These consolations are racing for a purse of $20,000 each, and there is no entry fee to get in a consolation.

The 3-year-old Sire Stakes Championships are racing Sunday, September 7, at Harrah’s Chester; the 2-year-old events will take place on Tuesday, September 23, at The Meadows.

If you have a Sire Stakes contender it would be good to check with these respective race offices for the actual draw day and times.
