Pacing for the Cure announces 2019 schedule

Burlington, NJ – Pacing For The Cure is excited to announce the start of its summer tour. Fans should mark their calendars for their local events.

“Jeff and I are so excited to be participating in these events and always look forward to seeing our friends and supporters at the locations we visit. We are so grateful for the opportunity to continue to promote the human-horse connection while raising funds to help those living with Multiple Sclerosis” stated Janine Gesek, president of Pacing For The Cure.

First stop on Saturday (June 22) is the Ohio Harness Horseman’s Association Charity Night at the Races at Eldorado Scioto Downs. The evening consists of two charity races where charities are invited to a enjoy a meal, watch a night of races, and take home a donation for their charity. Each charity will be interviewed in the winner’s circle to tell their story.

Second stop on Friday (June 28) is the Meadows Standardbred Owners Association Driver Charity Challenge in partnership with the Pennsylvania Horse Racing Association. The night will include each charity being paired with a driver for a series of races and a chance to win a donation for the charity. Each charity will receive a VIP table including dinner, programs and swag bags. There will be a race named after each charity with a winner’s circle presentation.

in July, the tour returns to Eldorado Scioto Downs on Saturday (July 13) and Ocean Downs in Maryland on Sunday (July 28). Additional information will be forthcoming for those events as details are finalized.

Pacing For The Cure is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization co-founded by Jeffrey and Janine Gesek of Burlington, NJ. This organization is all volunteer resulting in maximum donations going directly to those in financial need. After 100 percent of requested equipment and services are met, Pacing For The Cure supports cutting edge human immunology Multiple Sclerosis research to help find a cure.
