Crete, IL — The Balmoral Pick-5 was not hit on Sunday and that sets the stage for the second consecutive Wednesday of all night action with two guaranteed multi race pools.

With the help of the USTA Strategic Wagering Program, Balmoral Park will offer guaranteed pools on the Pick-4 and Pick-5 Wednesday. Free 12-line program pages are now available courtesy of Track Master at www.ustrotting.com.

The Pick-5 starts on race two. The 50 cent minimum allows players twice the amount of combinations for more coverage. Sunday night there were 60 live 50 cent tickets going into the fifth race. Amazingly not one of those tickets has the 3-1 winner Squonk. The rare statistical anomaly creates a superb wagering opportunity with a Wednesday one day carryover of $8,870.

The USTA and Balmoral have created an instant guarantee of $30,000 for the Pick-5 pool. Post time for race two is 7:30 p.m. (CST).

The Balmoral Pick-4 will immediately follow the conclusion of the Pick-5. The Wednesday Pick-4 guaranteed pool is $20,000 with a low takeout of 15 percent. The Pick-4 has a $1 minimum bet and consists of the final four races. Race ten, the final leg of the Pick-4, will offer 10 cent High 5 wagering.
