Toronto, ON — Eight 3-year-old filly trotters and seven 3-year-old filly pacers were entered Monday (Sept. 10) for the Ontario Sires Stakes Gold eliminations scheduled to be contested on Thursday (Sept. 13) at Mohawk Racetrack.

The OSS rules state that if there are not more horses entered in the elimination than can compete in the final, the elimination will be canceled and all horses will be considered declared directly into the final to be held the following week. Therefore, the Gold eliminations for 3-year-old filly trotters and 3-year-old filly pacers scheduled for Sept. 13 at Mohawk Racetrack are canceled.

The C$130,000 Gold finals will be held on Thursday (Sept. 20) as scheduled and the post positions will be drawn on Thursday (Sept. 13), when the finals would normally have been drawn.

According to OSS rules concerning the points for the Super Final, the 100 points from the canceled eliminations will be distributed equally between the horses that entered the events.

The field for the 3-year-old filly trot final (in alphabetical order): Daylon Miracle, Frisky Strike, Justasmalltowngirl, Lexus Helios, Miss Paris, One More Ginny, Smarty Pants and Sugar Wheeler.

The field for the 3-year-old filly pace final (in alphabetical order): Apogee Hanover, Class Of O Nine, Cooking The Books, Jet Wash, Katy’s Jet, Mach A Wish and Mia Seelster.
