Palone Ranger to stand in Indiana in 2010

Wolcottville, IN — Dojea Stables has announced it will stand recently acquired stallion Palone Ranger at Ivy Lane Farm in Goshen, Indiana for the 2010 breeding season.

Palone Ranger p,4,1:49.4f ($1,248,545) was sired by Western Ideal, the sire of six millionaires and with total offspring winnings of more than $42 million. His dam is Mercy Mercy Mercy p,4,1:51.1s ($565,148) by Jate Lobell.

Palone Ranger was the runner-up in the $840,000 Metro Stakes final as a freshman in 2005 and was the winner of the 2006 Messenger Stakes at Yonkers for trainer Greg Peck and driver Ron Pierce.

Doug Rheinheimer of Dojea Stables stated, “There is a new sheriff in town. We purchased him for the Indiana breeding program with the expectation that it would be a long term breeding program for him.”

His 2010 stud fee will be $4,000.
