A competitive guaranteed Pick 4 at Yonkers Saturday night. Last week’s produced a couple of boxcar longshots and a huge payoff; once again Saturday night’s sequence involves some of the fastest horses in the sport.

7th Race: ATOCHIA is a legitimate favorite here off two strong closing efforts but I’m also going to use a longshot, SAND SAVAGE, who broke last week but gets the rail in a six-horse field.

8th Race: LUCKY BETTOR and SOUTHERN ALLIE form a sharp entry for the Burke stable, although Southern Allie has a tough post. BLANTANTLY GOOD is sharp and draws nicely in post four. I’m taking a stand against the morning line favorite, Gallant Yankee, here, but he missed by a head last time and is a solid contender. After last week’s was so unpredictable, I want to play a small ticket.

9th Race: FOILED AGAIN is 3-5 on the morning line and a potential single but I also used RIVER SHARK from post five; he finished strongly from outside posts in last two starts.

10th Race: ARDUOUS is the in form closer for the hot Lou Pena barn. LINDY’S BANDIT steps up sharp for a hot barn and has speed. SOUTHWIND TABOR raced well out of the pocket in last. The favorite should be Clown’s Smile, who wired this type in last two starts from post seven, but I left him out.
