Last night I played a $40 ticket and only had two of the winners. I have one hit so far this year for $1,144.50 on the whale ticket and no winners on the standard tickets. Meet totals: 41 plays, 0 hits, -$1,212. Whale ticket: 16 plays, one hit, -$2,922.50.

Analysis:

Race 7: (4) Prairie Jaguar hasn’t raced badly since shipping north from Pompano but has been over his head; drops tonight.

Race 8: (6) P H Powerplay finished boldly in last. I’m also using my other three contenders in this tough race.

Race 9: (4) Up Up And Out and (5) Quik Magic both get better posts this week.

Race 10: Pretty tough race, but I’m going to try a single, (7) Alex Bullville. He had post 10 in his last two starts.
