Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 7-10, Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017

I thought that the Pick-4 had the potential to pay big Saturday, and it did, over $20,000. I tried a Whale Ticket, and I even had a $16.60 single in one of the legs, but still only had two out of four. Meet totals, Standard Ticket: 0 for 6, minus $77. Whale Ticket, 0 for 1, minus $315.

Analysis:

Race 7: (6) Terror Of The Nite set the pace and held well in last and speed wasn’t carrying well. (5) Fly’N With Royalty is in form and gets Brett Miller in the bike. You may be able to get through with these two horses but I’m going to include a sharp shipper from Saratoga, (3) Dabestleaderever, who steps up after a nice win first off a claim and may be live at a price here.

Race 8: (3) Major Buddy A had a tough trip and held well in last. (5) Ideal Legacy A ships in sharp.

Race 9: (1) Drama Free heads an entry for sharp trainer. I’m also using (4) Haileysgonedancing who ships in off a win.

Race 10: (3) Cherry Bliss ships in from Yonkers with a key drop. (8) Purity is overdue to beat this kind. (1) Gimme Some Lovin’ picks up hot driver.
