Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 8-11, Friday, June 14, 2019

Both of my best bets won Saturday, including Democracy N ($13.20). In the Pick-4, I hit it and had three of the four winners on top but it only paid $27.50 for the 50-cent wager. Meet record, 45 Pick-4s, two winners at $107.50 and $27.50, minus $724.50.

Tonight’s tickets: 50-cent play: 26/1679/356/57 = $24

Analysis:

Race 8: This is an excellent race of quality pacers. You could single the favorite, (8) Highalator, or spread. I’m going to keep the cost down and use my top pick, (2) Classy Dragon, and my third pick, (6) Western Joe, leaving the favorite out.

Race 9: This is a wide open race. (6) Narcian Jewel is my top pick and I think she has a good chance to wire these, but I’m also using my other contenders, 1, 7, 9.

Race 10: (3) Pinkman is my top pick here, mainly because he likes this track. But I’ll include (5) Guardian Angel As and (6) Cruzado Dela Noche, both solid trotters. I’m leaving out (9) Marion Marauder but he is a threat despite the layoff.

Race 11: My best bet is (7) Percy Bluechip but I didn’t think that (5) Miss You N had a good chance in her local debut so I’ll include her at a potential price.
