Columbus, OH — Eldorado Scioto Downs will close out the year on Saturday (Sept. 7) with two power packed stakes races for older pacers and trotters.

The Charlie Hill Memorial Trot and the Jim Ewart Memorial Pace will headline a closing night that will also feature the consolation races for 2- and 3-year-old Ohio Sires Stakes horses and the older Ohio Sires Stakes for pacers.

The Charlie Hill Memorial will be for 4-year-old and up trotters and is limited to horses with the highest lifetime earnings that enter. The trotters will go to the gate with a purse of $200,000. One payment of $500 must be postmarked by Saturday (June 15).

The Jim Ewart Memorial will be for stallions and geldings 4-years-old and up and is limited to horses with the highest lifetime earnings that enter. The estimated purse for the Ewart will be $400,000 and the payment is $500 and must be postmarked by June 15.
