Saturday night I played a $16 ticket and had three out of four.

Winter meet totals: standard ticket, 30 plays, -$153.70; whale ticket, 10 plays, -$422.00
Championship meet totals: standard ticket, three plays, – $35.00; whale ticket, two plays, one winning ticket for $53.00, even.

Standard ticket: 50 cent play: 45/59/59/34569 = $20
Whale ticket: 50 cent play: none

Analysis:

Race 7: I’m using the two obvious horses here, 4 and 5. Generally speaking, during this Championship meet, you shouldn’t have to use as many horses as you need during the winter.

Race 8: (9) Sayitall BB has a class edge here but I also used (5) Angels Delight who drops out of the Open.

Race 9: (9) Quick Deal broke at 6-5 but now faces even weaker. I also used (5) Pounce Hanover.

Race 10: This is a tough race and I went five deep using 3, 4, 5, 6, 9.
