Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 7-10, Friday, May 24, 2013

Last week’s results: I opened the championship meet with a winning Pick-4 two weeks ago. My $18 ticket returned $163.60. Last Friday’s card was so tough that I only used a $4 ticket. The seventh race winner paid $52 and the Pick-4 paid $106,403.40! Saturday the Pick-4 paid more than $2,800 and my $8 ticket lost.

Tonight’s sequence does not look as tough as last Friday’s.

$1 play: 6/357/78/35 = $12

Analysis:

Race 7: This race is wide open but (6) Abrokenart Hanover caught my eye the past two weeks and I’ll single this improved mare.

Race 8: Some will single (3) Schalom G but I’m not sure that the 10-year-old can be trusted. I also used (7) Marcus Bi and (5) Buzz Bomb.

Race 9: (8) Miss Sand Creek faces weaker tonight and has speed. I’ll also used the obvious favorite, (7) Queen Of Royalty who looks pretty good here.

Race 10: (3) Aequitas will be a short price here as he moves inside from post 10 but I also used my top pick (5) Fountainbleau Volo who also gets a better post and has some backclass.
