Passionate Glide, Four Starz Lindy win

Lexington, KY — Heavily-favored Passionate Glide made it look easy in winning her elimination heat of the Kentucky Futurity Filly division in 1:52.2 on a cold and windy Friday afternoon at The Red Mile.
Driver Ron Pierce reserved her off a frantic pace (:54.4 to the half) set by Queen Serene, then guided her past the leader in the stretch to win under wraps. Susie’s Magic finished third.
Four Starz Lindy, under a confident drive by Brian Sears, got up in the final strides to nip Workout Doll and driver George Brennan to take the second elimination heat.
The time was 1:54.3, a lifetime best for the daughter of Dream Vacation. KD Girl finished third.
