Washington, PA — Patrikthepiranha A used the Lightning Lane to gobble up the leader and capture Saturday’s (Sept. 9) feature at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, a $15,900 Conditioned Pace.

Annapolis Hanover (Jeremy Indof), the lone 3-year-old in the field, showed his elders the way until mid-stretch when Brady Brown pointed Patrikthepiranha A inside. The 8-year-old Four Starzzz Shark-That’s The Spirit gelding blasted past to score in 1:50.3. Double Metal (Wilbur Yoder) also used the Lightning Lane to be second, half a length back, while Annapolis Hanover saved show.

Tim Twaddle trains the winner, who now boasts a lifetime bankroll of $474,347, for TheStable Patrikthepiranha Group.

Hunter Myers and Dave Palone each piloted four winners on the 12-race card while Brown and trainer Brandon Presto each fashioned a three-bagger.
