Payment info for NJ Sire Stakes Program on website

Trenton, NJ – The New Jersey Department of Agriculture is announcing that the New Jersey Sire Stakes Program will be publishing information on its website that will include instructions and links for race horse owners on how to make credit card, e-check, and mail-in payments for the 2021 horse racing season in New Jersey.

These will include payments for the Sire Stakes’ Premier Division and Standardbred Development Fund Divisions. The forms are Sustainable Payment credit card/e-check, Sustainable Payment mail-in, and yearling nomination credit card/e-check, and mail-in forms.

The New Jersey Sire Stakes Program was established by law in 1971 to encourage the breeding of Standardbred horses, the trotters, and pacers familiar to harness racing fans. The Sire Stakes Program provides a minimum of six races a year for each class of both 2- and 3-year old colts and fillies, trotters and pacers alike. The program includes Sire Stakes Premier Division events, the Sire Stakes’ Standardbred Development Fund Program, and the Renaissance Open and Filly Paces.
