Nominations to the 2008 edition of The Classic Series (TCS) must be postmarked by February 15 and sent with payment to the Hambletonian Society. All pertinent information is available at www.theclassicseries.com including nomination levels and down-loadable nomination forms. TCS begins on Monday, April 7, at Dover Downs with the first of three $85,000 ($60,000 div.) preliminary legs for all four divisions of older pacers and trotters. Mohawk Racetrack hosts the second leg on Saturday, May 31. The Meadowlands will stage the third leg on July 19 as well as the $250,000 Final for each division, raced at a mile and one sixteenth, on Saturday, July 26.
