Hanover, PA — Pedigrees of the 224 yearlings entered in the inaugural Pennsylvania Preferred Yearling Sale are now available at the sale’s Web site at www.standardbredpasale.com.

The sale will take place at the Pennsylvania State Farm Show Complex on Monday, August 27, beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Hard copy catalogs for the sale will be mailed out on Thursday, July 26. Catalogs can be requested through the sale Web site or by calling (717) 637-8931.

A significant majority of the yearlings consigned are eligible to the Pennsylvania Sires Stakes and Pennsylvania Fair Stakes, which will be significantly enhanced by slot revenue beginning with the 2008 racing season.

In addition to the Pennsylvania breds, the sale also includes yearlings eligible to the sires stakes programs in New York, New Jersey, Ontario, Delaware, Maryland and Kentucky.
