Pennsylvania harness racing includes an active fair component. There are 14 racing fairs and five sire stakes events raced throughout the state from mid-June to mid-September.

The Pennsylvania Fair Harness Horsemen are searching for starters to handle the races in Pennsylvania. The fairs meet at the Pennsylvania Fair Convention in January and we would like to be able to present them with an available starter(s).

If you have a gate, a starter’s license and wish to work at the Pennsylvania Fairs please contact President Terry Schoeffel for tentative schedules and prevailing fees.
