Perec remained unbeaten with a 1:54.3 score for Corey Callahan.

The Dawn Dellarporte-trained Perec is making up for lost time as she made just her second career start and improved to 2-for-2 lifetime with a sizzling 1:54.3 dominant performance. The Badlands Hanover filly pulled first over and cleared Stash The Cash approaching three- quarters and never looked back in her decisive score. Stash The Cash was second while Sarah Barracuda finished third.

In the second division, Badlands Jenna was a wire-to-wire winner in 1:55.3 over Allie Oakley and Winsmith Jess. Also sired by Badlands Hanover, Badlands Jenna is looking to continue her dominance in the Delaware breeding program which has helped her start her career with 14 wins in 19 starts.

The second leg of DSBF action will be contested next week, while the $100,000 finals for all divisions will take place on July 28.

In the overnight feature, Ksj Stable’s Perfect M Forever (Callahan) took the Mares Open in 1:53.2. It was one of four driving wins for Callahan on the card.
