Petey Sarah was seventh when Dan Charlino sent her on her way. The 3-year-old daughter of Uncle Peter and Maxine The Mighty picked up the live three-wide cover of Courtney Hanover and outkicked her to the wire, downing her by a half length in 1:55.3 and matching her career best. Casey T finished third.

Ron Burke trains Petey Sarah for Burke Racing Stable, Knox Services and Weaver Bruscemi LLC.

In Tuesday’s other co-feature, a $10,400 distaff conditioned pace, first-time Lasix user Summer Charm pulled the pocket into the final turn and triumphed in 1:51 for Tony Hall, trainer Scott Betts, and owners Tim Betts, Nick Catalano, Keith Pippi and Brookside Stables. The 4-year-old daughter of Bettor’s Delight and Lover Of Art lifted her lifetime bankroll to $354,150.

Dave Palone and Burke each fashioned a four-bagger on the 13-race card.

Live racing at The Meadows continues Wednesday (Oct. 28), when the 13-race program features a $93,764.44 carryover in the final-race Super Hi-5. First post is 12:45 p.m.
