Pick-5 carryover slated for Monday at Yonkers

Yonkers, NY — Saturday night’s (Sept. 3) Pick-5 sequence at Yonkers Raceway was not hit, largely due to a 32-1 upset by Cantstoplying, driven by Brent Holland for trainer Paul Stafford and owner Thomas Ceraso Jr., in the eighth race.

As a result, on Monday night’s (Sept. 5) card, there will be a $2,668.22 carryover in addition to the usual $10,000 guaranteed pool in the wager.

The guarantee in the Pick-5 is being offered as part of the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program. Free past performances for the Pick-5, courtesy of TrackMaster, will be available here. The Pick-5, which begins in race five, has a takeout rate of 20 percent.

Monday night’s 11-race program will also have a carryover of $1,080.46 in the Pick-6 starting in race three.

Yonkers is currently operating on a Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday live racing schedule with post time each night at 6:55 p.m. (EDT).
