Pick-5 payout of $70,530 Thursday at Mohawk

Campbellville, ON — The Mohawk Pick-5 has become one of the most popular wagers on the Woodbine Entertainment Group circuit and Thursday evening (April 27) it was the subject of plenty of buzz.
A total of $82,976 was wagered into the Pick-5 pool Thursday and at the conclusion of the five races just one ticket correctly selected all five winners to score a significant payday of $70,530.22.
The Pick-5 wager offers a minimum bet of 20-cents and a 15 percent take out.
The final odds of the five winning horses during the Pick-5 sequence were 7-2, 8-1, 22-1, 2-1 and 3-5.
Thursday evening was the second card in a row to have a Pick-5 pool of more than $80,000. Through nine cards this meet at Mohawk, the average pool size for the multi-leg wager has been $66,187.
